Well, looks like Nian Bing is finally making some significant progress in his fire magic in addition to Feng Nü. We can fianlly see how powerful he is in terms of fire magic even though he is only an advanced mage but has acquired the powers of the fire god himself.

This thing confuses me alot. Is he a great mage or advance mage? I think he’s a Ice great mage but Fire advance mage. But when he talked with the dual elemental magic scholar, he said he is progressing both elements simultaneously cuz’ if one element get excessive as compare to other, It gets out of control. And he has to maintain the balance of ice and fire in his body.
Edit: Most probably he’s an advance mage cuz’ dubbing in recent episodes are much better than previous episodes. Plus Feng Nü is a Martial Saint now. Only one step away from becoming a Martial God.
